This app if very helpful, but it does need a little more work. When using the quiz option often times it highlights places that can not been seen clearly.

Wish it had the ears and eyes in more details though ... and also reproductive system

Awesome. Helps to understand anatomy of body better
19 October 2015
My classmates and I use this app to supplement our time in the cadaver lab. However, the version Microsoft has is the 3rd version instead of the 5th which the apple store has. This app could also be better if it had the bone markings labeled like the Netter app does. However, it has served it's purpose well and I am happy I got it.

There are a bunch of mistakes in the nervous system, but other than that a very useful app. If the anatomical errors are corrected I give it 5 stars. Example: The Suprascapular nerve branching off of the middle trunk/posterior cord of the brachial plexus. It branches off of the superior/anterior/lateral cord of the brachial plexus supplied by Ventral root C5. This may seem like nit picking but this is crucial to a medical student/physician.

This app has helped me so much with my studies of the human body. It also allows me to explain and show to my athletes their injuries. It helps them understand so much better than just me explaining to them. Would recommend to anyone studying the human body.
15 September 2015
Awesome app! Would like if you can add the bony features (ischial tuberosity, etc.) More detail in the head and neck would be helpful as well.
11 September 2015
Has neglected windows and will not update. Spends all of their time on the Mac version. Do not waste your money until they get their stuff together.
5 August 2015
This app helps me learn this stuff even better than the cadaver lab!
29 July 2015
Apple always gets the updates (sometimes years ahead of windows) and apple also has all the nova series of this app that can be interlinked.
17 July 2015
Helped me get a good grade on my Muscle exam. I will be using this app many times in the future. If you guys could update Windows to version 5 it would be highly appreciated. Even Version 3 is 1000x better then any other 3D Human Anatomy app I have ever seen. Thank You.
8 July 2015
Couldn't be better. It essentially replaces an Atlas if you're in medical school, but its much more efficient.
7 July 2015
Great resource for learning anatomy.
17 June 2015
So great to be able to manipulate the screen on the Surface to better see the anatomy.
15 June 2015
I bought and installed this app for $10. Then installed it onto my windows surface but when I search for it, it's no where to be found. It worked only for a couple months then it disappeared. I tried going back to windows store and installing it again. It let me install again, but is still no where to be found. Every time I go back to windows store to try make sure it's installed. It says it's already installed and doesn't give me that option anymore. Could be Windows surface problem, could be essential anatomy problem. Not sure who's the cause.
14 June 2015
Missing reproductive system male/female. All systems included have great visibility, and transparency so you can see from all advantage points. It really is a great tool if your using it to study anatomy. Great quizzing style, both multiple choice, and drag & drop style. Also, if using a touch screen computer, great manipulation of organs, vessels, bones, and quiz usage.
12 June 2015
While it isn't 1,000 accurate or has EVERY part I need (as a chiropractic student) - it is seriously better than flipping through the books and trying to find how muscles and bones fit together and where they are in relation to each other. Awesome, powerful app!
7 June 2015
I installed a more expensive app similar to this one, and the more expensive app is better. But this one is still pretty darn awesome. One thing I like about this app that I can't do with the other (or at least I haven't figured out how to do it with the other) is that you can select a group of items, such as all the bones and parts of the foot, and click "isolate". Then everything else in the model goes away, and you can focus on the selected items. Very cool. Also, in this app, unlike the other, you can pan by swiping with 2 fingers ( index and thumb). That makes it easier to navigate the 3D model.
29 May 2015
I'm a podiatric medical student and I've been using this to study for the Lower Anatomy and Clinical Anatomy portion of Part 1 Boards, and for muscles and vasculature this app simply cannot be beat. It is incredibly intuitive and easy to use. Even the ligaments and connective tissue have a great attention to detail. It's wonderful!
My only complaint would be the osteology. I wish there was more detail with regards to specific bony features (tubercle of the femur, gluteal tuberosity, that stuff isn't mentioned). If you look at the femur, it just highlights the entire femur, although there is some included info which is nice.
I got this app when it was on sale for $10, and it is easily worth much more than that. If you are a medical student, PA student, nursing student, etc. don't hesitate to pick this up! I'm sure I will be referencing this app well into residency.
19 May 2015
Helps me a lot in massage therapy
14 May 2015
I love this app. I am a chiropractor, and I use this app for educating my patients. It is easy to use and very useful. I would love to be able to "cut" or separate the spine or the extremities
23 April 2015
This app provides a tremendous opportunity for Human Anatomy students and instructors to view the human body structures from several angles and also get a greater perspective than a single text book or anatomy reference book can provide. Sometimes when the model or cadaver resources in the lab do not provide a full picture such as of muscle origins and insertions, or vessel locations, this provides a great visual resource for lab students.
Unfortunately this version of the product only provides a male 3d model with male structures, and does not have urinary or reproductive systems completely illustrated. In addition, for future version I would like an option for coronal, sagittal, and transverse cross-sections of structures, this would be tremendously useful for brain and reproductive, and further beneficial and cool in the other systems.
Forgiving it's shortfalls, I have had fun and learned from this app, It did great with muscles and PNS. 4/5
9 April 2015
A great visual representation of human physiology and greatly enhances a students ability to learn anatomy with the upmost of ease.
7 April 2015
This app has helped me a lot in my anatomy class. It is especially good when you are using a touchscreen / tablet because it is easier to manipulate the figure.
I wish it had a feature where you could easily choose a specific set of muscles and/or other structures (maybe by typing a list) and see them on the skeleton. The closest thing right now is the "muscles of the hand" option, or the thing where you go through and use check boxes.
28 March 2015
Fantastic app. But it needs a few things. First, reproductive systems. Next, labels on the various bone/muscle/organ structures. Lastly, a good method for sharing bookmarks.
27 March 2015
This is seriously a fantastic app. I'm in pre-med and being able to isolate certain muscles and study their origins and insertions has been extremely helpful. The one thing I wish it had was the ability to look at all the features of the bones, such as tuberosities, fossas, tubercles, etc. Other than that, I have loved this app.
27 March 2015
This is by far the best anatomy app off any I have tried. I don't buy apps but this one is very worth it. The interface is intuitive, the graphics are amazing, and the features are useful and not gimmicky. I have noticed some slowdown during heavy use because it is a big program, but only when I have a bunch of heavy apps/programs open at the same time. Otherwise, fantastic app!
15 March 2015
I wish it had more anatomical identifications...as in the acromion process is just labeled as the scapula, medical and lateral condyles are just femur, etc.
14 March 2015
grate!!! but have few problems with some structures. hope this will improve with new updates.
11 March 2015
this app is great for students and health care professionals. My only complaint is that this application does not show the movements for each muscle. I would rate 5 stars if I were able to click on a muscle and be shown a simulation for that particular muscular contraction/movement
16 May 2016
