Nouns:
This aims to help the very young child to start to name simple words. Children sometimes have problems learning to talk.
Therefore, parents/pre-school teachers can use this app to help the child start using words.
Gesture is used before words and sometimes the child relies on this too much. They need to start talking.
More Nouns:
Help your child expand their vocabulary. Continue to stimulate your child's language development.
Use this app to teach your child to learn more nouns.
Then, look around your home and start naming things in the room to help your child say more words.
By 2 years of age your child is prepared to say 250 words approx.
What's Around Us:
Children need to learn to look around their world and use language to express their thoughts, ideas, feelings and dreams.
Use this app to explore their world and talk about what they think.
Share ideas, information and feelings and train them to converse at a more mature level.
C and K Sounds:
Sit down in a quiet, calm place with your child.
Turn off TV or any other distraction.
Start by saying C or K on its own first to train the child to say it on its own.
Then start to blend it with the end of the word e.g. C + up.
Now say it all together e.g. 'Cup'
Use the mirror to show the child how to say C or K.
