GPS Satellite

GPS Satellite provides the location and course data calculated from your phone's global positioning satellite (GPS) receive in conjunction with received orbiting global position satellite signals. Data includes: * latitude *longitude * altitude * speed * course * horizontal accuracy * vertical accuracy * date and time * 3 geocache sites * multi-satellite dilution values and ratings, plus point source GPS Satellite allows you to send the location(map link, latitude, longitude, and image) and tracking information to the following: * SMS * email * post to your favorite social network like Twitter * clipboard to pasted into other applications For Windows 10 desktop, you can now save and load position data points. Coordinates can be displayed with: * decimal degrees * decimal degrees with direction * degrees and minutes * degrees, minutes, and seconds Mapping allows you the following view: * road * aerial * hybrid * terrain * pitch control * pedestrian and landmark features Speeds can be displayed wit the following formats: * miles per second * miles per hour * kilometers per hour * knots * feet per second Latitude and longitude can be displayed in a LARGE nicely formatted screen. Tasks can be performed on the tasks page. NASA photo of the day provided. Holding your finger on the map page for a second, you will get the latitude and longitude of that position in addition to the other data. Privacy policy: Upon your actions, this application accesses your location to display and can, of your choice, save the location to a file. You may also load the file or share the location. If you only need 20000 meter accuracy, then this ap is for you. If you want to know where you actually are, find a good GPS AP.

this wasnt even worth downloading..properties shown are 7 or more years old, any newer than that are not even shown just the dirt where the houses now exist.

Kinda, sorta works.... The software picked up satellite signals, but the "accuracy" of the location was shown as 7412 meters (4.6 miles)!!! The GPS in my Fuji XP150 camera is far more reliable!

I give it a three because its interesting for about 5 minutes and it works ok. It seems to work well with a GPS sensor, downloaded here - http://www.turboirc.com/gps7/ause combined with my external GPS usb dongle. I am not sure what is benefit is accept for showing your location information and tracking you as you drive. Microsoft S &T does that and gives you directions as well. Navmii is probably the best bet if looking for a free GPS. (warning) There is no way to rename you favorite in Navmii so your stuck with remembering what address goes to what place.. I guess if you were flying in a plane GPS Satellite would be fun to have so you could follow you route. although there probably will not be many roads if your flying over water.. (-:
