Information Analysis that can Analyse any Data in Any Format just Paste Any Data and Allow Info Dump to analyse. This is a powerful tool but can also act like a fuzzy ‘file a facts’.
InfoDump
This is a remarkable and unique piece of software that does many things.
Just about all software needs the user to enter information in a structured way for example if you are entering an address you may say 3 Sea View, The Street, Any Town. This software really does not care how the address is organised or any information is organised. It takes any information in any order and any format and produces a result that the end user can quickly make sense of the data presented and it does this by reducing down some of the data and sometimes adding information to data to make sense of that information.
At its simplest level the software works like this, go to any page you have and use Select All then Copy that data it can be from a web-page or a document you already have and just Paste it directly into our analytical InfoDump Tool. Press the Dump button and then Search on the results.
1) The original purpose for this software was to look at pages of information and quickly summarise whether the information contained in those pages would be relevant to some research. But since then the software has moved on and has now become a powerful analytical tool.
2) I use the term structured and unstructured data, what do I mean. When you enter data into a form say on the Internet you have to enter Name in the Name Field or box etc. This is very structured data. But what if you have a page of information in a document with the address entered into the page half way down with text above and text below. You just Select All then Copy it into the InfoDump Tool and allow it to analyse the data. It often produces information I would not have known was there unless I wished to read through pages of information.
3) It takes any information, importantly it does not need to have any definable order and will show that information in a condensed and logical way.
4) The software also can add information to certain types of data to make more sense of where that data originates from for example from Postcodes or Zip Numbers to International telephone regions and local regional numbers for example United Kingdom (Britain).
5) There is also a very powerful custom word analysis tool where you can analyse any unstructured information. This is the main power house of the software currently and can be used to analyse any unstructured information. For example say you have 4 pages of information from a chess league and you wish to analyse who played in what division and how many times they appear. It automatically will home in on the most important information it then will list that information in an easy to view word format. What would take hours to manually work out using this software can take only a minute or so. Because it works with any type of structured data each of the 4 pages for each division could be in completely different formats and the software would still make sense of each format when producing concise information.
6) In the world of research. Outside of all of its analytical capability its main task is given any unstructured information in any format it will remove unimportant information and at a glance provide you with a concise amount of information that will help you to quickly decide if you need to read through that information. Why is this so useful, say you download a document from of the Internet and your looking to see if it deals with the general area your interested in. Currently you can use a word search to see if a particular word is in that document. By pasting that same document into our analytical tool it will try and look at all of the most important information held in that document and concisely provide you with a list of the most important words used and group them together to give a very concise, at a glance view of what that document contains. You can home in on any word using our own Word Search also. Our analysis tool is useful for research especially if a student who needs to quickly decide if the information your reading about is actually of any use to what you need to put in a Study Assignment. Also can be useful in the work place for similar reasons.
7) All of the information analysed are stored in simple text files prefixed “user” and therefore can be backed up, deleted, moved and used in just about any other application given the simple format of each line of information stored. For example all information is delimited by a comma and each line is delimited by a semicolon and a line break. Therefore results generated can be used in other applications like spreadsheets in a much more structured way than the original data.
8) Another interesting use is that you can take information already analysed and past the results back into the InfoDump software and re-analyse that data with additional information.
9) It is also possible to set a custom file name like chessmaster if for example you wished to analyse the top 30 chess-masters over the last 80 years. All information is then held in that custom file and therefore different types of analysis can be carried and all results can be viewed within that custom file called in our example chessmaster.
10) This analytical software is great for looking at data sets and looking at any correlation between such data set however unstructured each data set is actually.
11) Although the software can be used in very concise fields of expertise it can also be used generally for just about any purpose you can think of. The software stores and retrieves any information passed to it so it can also be used as a fuzzy ‘file a facts’ but with the added advantage of not having to enter information in ordered text boxes like Name, Address, Telephone Number you can just Past a whole address in and the software will try and store relevant information.
12) You may be asking the question will the software store all the information passed to it. The answer is absolutely NO. This is the amazing beauty of this software it sieves through pages of information and extracts and saves only information it feels is important and stores it and then retrieves it for viewing in a format that is readable and exportable.
13) Is the software 100% accurate? The answer is No. Some information it just may not be able to interpret. What it does is give a fair estimation. It may say a document as X number of the word called 'train' but this is only an estimation. There may be many reason why it has missed the word train altogether including it being misspelt. But it will usually give a good estimation. For example a document may produce the following results Cars,10,Sport,5,Racing,5,Track,1,field,1; etc This analysis tells you right away that the documents main subject is Cars but if you look at all of the results it is easy to see that the document is something to do with racing cars and a racing track. This is just a short example of analytical results returned from a document.
14) The software is very useful to anybody who needs to quickly make sense of any type of information, from legal people to researchers to public bodies to people who need to analyse data from the humble telephone bill to information across similar web-sites for their marketing strategies. Because any information however unstructured can be used. The software is un-limitless on its ability to process any format: structured or unstructured information.
