Very useful, esp. the way the references are visible along the side of the presentation view. Several conveniences made this very nice to use. A couple of additional features and it will be a five star, indispensable app.

This Software is great buts the is As place to get help or tutorial.
9 March 2015
This doesn't even have the current books for the current year i.e. teaching of Ezra Traft Benson. Can't even get a refund for this worthless application. No library updates Sorry I wasted my money.
26 February 2015
Could be greater if I could search my margin notes.
18 September 2014
cut and paste function does not work correctly. either enable accurate cut/paste OR have the highlighted sections go into a file that can be copied from.
14 August 2014
I love this app and it was well worth the money. Currently using it on a Surface Pro 3. My biggest hope is that there will be a way to either export or save your talks/presentations in a file outside of the program, even if it is an rtf format so I can back it up and have it if the app goes away or my computer does not work the moment I am giving the lesson/talk. Even maybe being able to print it to a PDF file? Second, it would be nice to be able to add my own ebooks
31 July 2014
The server it connects to in order to get books is unreachable for several days. Installed and can't use.
update: this was fixed w/ the latest version of the app.
28 July 2014
Trial version gives "Error contracting server.
Please try again later." Does not load any content on my Surface Pro 2. Would give a rating of 0 if I could.
20 July 2014
I'm sure this app would useful if it would connect to the net instead of giving me an error message... this app sucks not worth the money
17 July 2014
I cannot get this app to work on my new Surface Pro 3. There is no content in the various sections of the menu. It tells me it cannot contact the server, and to try again later. I don't know whether it is a problem of interfacing with the system, or if it downloaded incorrectly. I am disappointed to say the least.
8 June 2014
Things I wish it could do:
1) sync with my notebook on LDS.Org
2) After highlighting a verse I wish it would go back to that verse rather than up to the beginning of the chapter.
3) I wish I could highlight parts of a verse and not the whole thing. In this way I could highlight different parts of the verse in different colors.
4) I wish i could highlight multiple verses at the same time.
5)need syncing (via onedrive) across devices.
12 May 2014
I love the look and feel. I love the margins, but I want / NEED the ability to mark my lessons and scriptures in parts and with different highlights. I want to change colors and underline pieces and parts of scriptures, talks, and manuals. It would also add value if I could add hyperlinks to my margin notes. I'm looking forward to improvements.
2 May 2014
This is a nice little application, especially for preparing talks and presentations. With a few tweaks it could be an outstanding application.
I like the dual screen for study and preparing talks but a single screen reading option would be nice especially on smaller devices.
What I would like to see.
* Switch from Single Screen to split screen, (text and notes), using a swipe or a tab.
* Quick navigation links to Contents page and the Library from within a chapter. Navigation using the back button is too time consuming. The back button should step you back through your history but links to the library would make navigating to another book or chapter much easier.
* Next chapter option using a swipe or button instead of having to back up to the chapter list for the next chapter.
* Improved highlighting. Sometimes you want to highlight only part of a verse or use different colors in the same verse for emphasis.
Overall it's a nice app and the price is right.
20 April 2014
If syncing notes, bookmarks, etc., what about allowing me to store and sync across Margins apps via OneDrive? Then I could work on lessons across devices, including my Windows Phone.
Can you also enable different size options for snapping? 50% would be nice to have.
Also, links to videos in Come Follow Me would also be nice.
Thanks!

Best scripture app yet for Windows 8.1, but its still a bit glitchy. I got a bad install on the topical guide and it took forever to un install and reinstall it. Hopefully it will be better now. Also, the app doesn't seem to handle portrait view as well as it could. With just a couple of bug fixes this app will be perfect!
Uninstall/reinstall fix for the bad install of the Topical Guide worked perfectly.
14 March 2014
Looks great and is one of the few Standard Works apps available for Windows 8. Things I'd like to see:
1. Ability to underline just a word or phrase instead of an entire verse.
2. Ability to export my notes and highlights.
3.Ability to sort the material into folders (Sunday School, Priesthood, etc.)
23 February 2014
Not perfect, but very good. Certainly worth the small price. As the official LDS Gospel Library app for Windows 8 is still, for all intents and purposes, in beta, Margins is the way to go.
22 February 2014
Can anyone help: stewart.clark@champ-tech.com
20 February 2014
Wish it would sync with LDS.org login. Also when highlighting a verse it takes you back to the beginnings of the chapter. Irritating when reading a long chapter and needing to highlight several verses.
16 February 2014
It's a nice app. I appreciate the idea. I try to be fair with my reviews so I managed to give this one 2 stars. I had a lesson planned for elder's quorum but all the notes I had written were lost. Not sure how.
9 February 2014
Absolutely awesome!!! The presentations feature is great if you need to write a talk for sacrament meeting or for your Sunday school class.
12 January 2014
Doesn't have the current manual.
7 January 2014
I am dying waiting for an app to come out that sync with my online notebook. This app is nice with some great features. If it could sync with my online account I would spend money easily for it.
30 December 2013
I would like to see this app be more like the one I have on my iPhone... I can open up suggested videos that go with the lesson while still in the outlines.
16 December 2013
This app has all the features that I wanted out of LDS Scriptures. You can highlight, make notes, etc and search to your hearts content. The only thing I would have liked better was to be able to have different color highlighters for different subjects (yellow = family, blue = missionary, red = messages of Christ, etc.). Other than that, this application is now an invaluable tool for me and my scripture study.
25 November 2013
The navigation is better than the free app. The cross-references could be enhanced, but they are a good start.
3 November 2013
Great app. Love the ability to have two screens at once, really helps as I prepare lessons. Material on the left, reference on the right, with notes section.
22 September 2013
Its a great program I just wish I could highlight individual words in stead of just full verses
29 August 2013
I really wish I could swipe between chapters and only highlight a word or sentence in stead of a whole verse. otherwise a great app and I do not regret buying it.
23 June 2013
Still a great app, and as of now, every bit as good as the official LDS gospel library, but needs two things: ability to highlight words or verses (including sentences or paragraphs in conference talks), and ability to swipe directly to the next chapter, instead of having to go back to that book's whole chapter list.
