I only trust media monkey for my music, and it works just as great on my tablet as my computer. Great App. :) ~_~

It works well in spite of a few annoyances; mainly whenever the app closes or is restarted audiobook files revert back to the beginning instead of saving it's place. Also, considering that there is a version 10 available online and this is only version 1-something I think an update to the store would be extremely sweet. Other than that it plays the files that Windows Media Player, my default audiobook player, cannot, very nicely.

Need a white theme and bigger text customzation. I can't read lyrics because they're too small and reflective on black background.

On Surface 3 I have folders with organized music only files, mp3s. I have thousands of songs. After rating, closing the app and the re opening my ratings are not there anymore. Is there a limit? Also, and most important, after using it for an hour or so the app becomes unresponsive with the music continuing for a few more seconds and then it crashes taking me back to the home desktop screen. Please let me know of future updates and fixes.

Crashes every time I try to remove a folder from the library.

So we have all these options to show notifications from MediaMonkey, and to even show status on the lock screen. BUT, I don't see any of this, even after setting everything to on. Plus on the Metro, there is no Live Tile functionality for the charm. ???

Loaded this app with big hopes that it would be better than Windows abysmal player... Nope. It brought up only about 40% of my album artwork and worse, it wouldn't recognize any WMA files. I'll keep looking.....

But misleading: the description says you can manage podcasts, but podcasting subscriptions and finding podcasts is not actually a function of this app. If you have another app downloading podcasts, this will surely play them though.

Only indexes 5762 songs out of 88,000. Useless. Navigation is serial, takes forever to find the artist or song. I've used MediaMonkey LIFETIME Gold for many years. This doesn't seem to work at all and I cannot find any answers anywhere

This app is wonderful! If you want most of your playlist to DISAPPEAR! I spent DAYS building my playlist, only to find 85% of it to be GONE! THANK YOU, MediaMonkey, for WASTING MY TIME & building my anxiety levels! Music is the ONLY thing that helps me deal with my various array of bullshit, I have to deal with! Thanks, SO MUCH for making it WORSE! I didn't think that was POSSIBLE!

I try many apps in my surface rt and this one is the best by far

I downloaded this app because it said it is capable of playing a folder and any folders in it but every time I try to play a folder of music it crashes and I 'm not finding any help regarding the issue...

Does everything very well and it is free, no strings attached. Good job!

Installed app, customized skin, played a few albums. Got an error, clicked ok, then it uninstalled itself (or hid all obvious evidence of it). Windows store says it's installed, but not in app tiles or on desktop programs list. Too bad. I was liking it.

but I really it would let you put all the music under the folder you wanted and add the album cover when it don't downlods

been using this app for a long time to play flac files. I've never ran into a problem and it has an equalizer.

Really good media App

It works great. I like it far better than the default Windows 8 Music app. The only thing keeping me from 5 starring it would be the album art doesn't show up on the volume popup(it is replaced with a mediamonkey logo). I don't know if they'll ever change that. But it's my only gripe.

Very, very good app. If you could make the controls bigger, and had more folder options like always scan a specific drive on start it would be perfect :

I like the way the app can snap and not take a lot of space, allowing you to continue to use the desktop and control your music without having to move windows around.

It's not any better than x box music it jus looks good thts all stays stuck all the time to many glitches lol have to uninstall and re-install all the time to get it to work somewhat right

I was looking forward to this app since Xbox music leaves organizational options aside and Music Info is broken. This looks like a solid start, but I don't see any way to use this to sync a playlist to a music player, something simple that desktop MM does very well.

it reads flac files and other types but it lacks last.fm integration.

I have tried almost all FLAC players on the store and my conclusion is this is the best music player on the store. Not stuttering on connected standby while playing FLAC flawlessly unlike others. For those who get stuttering sound when playing FLAC, turn off audio processing on settings. Thanks developer for this application.
