Pretty good file manager. Moving/copying files is fairly reliable, but I'd use something different for moving large, complex directories. If you're used to Norton/Midnight Commander, FAR Manager, or Path Finder (Mac), this is the best option on the Win Store right now. Would be nice if it had: - a progress bar/view for moving and copying files - preview feature that doesn't take up the whole screen (i.e. overlay one of the browse panels - more settings options

In my opinion this is a excellent program for viewing various files, pictures or html files so you can see what is on your computer and do with them as you please

I like the idea of being able to browse folders and such, but I would like to see a system more similar to windows explorer where I can access all the files on the drive

I like using dual pane file managers. This one has all the key features in a file manager tool, copy, paste, move, rename, delete, open, multi select. Quick response and It looks good too.

It worked as advertised, had a great interface and could open rar and zip and other files. My problem is, after I installed it everything went slow on my pc for a day until I uninstalled it. Internet browsing was incredibly slow, online games had latency issues and lagging, and one time store even refused to open for a whole 5 minutes. I unistalled, Boom! I restarted my pc and here I am writing this review with my previously fast pc. Get it if you don't care about safety as it works fine, but for the others, shy away.

After the latest update I see no video (only sound) for some .mkv files. Otherwise great app!

Seems promising, but I really want a w8 file manager that helps with disk consumption by folder.

Works well generally but can sometimes have a problem with file name length. Would also add other features to facilitate backups, etc.

Ich hatte den Metro Commander schon einmal am Laptop, aber da war ich den Explorer einfach zu sehr gewöhnt - aber jetzt auf meinem Lumia macht er sich spitze! Bin vor allem begeistert, dass ich mir häufig verwendete Ordnerkombinationen zum Verschieben von Dateien direkt an den Start heften kann! Edit 14.6.15: Habe heute auch den integrierten Player erstmals ausprobiert - macht, was er soll! :-D

Add those two cloud options in the next update, please.

Navigating folders in each of the panes is a little different. Not used to selecting a directory as the base and not being able to navigate above that directory.

I've been using this app for years in its previous versions too, it's a great app.

As expected with a name like this, it resembles the Norton Commander or the DOS Navigator, does what I expect and is super easy to use. I highly recommend it.

Works basically like it should. Does more than other apps of its type, and does it better.

It is a pretty good app to access files and it was availablthe to re download after I had to reset my laptop. I wasn't going to pay 2 times. Odd way to view files and folders though.

This app is pretty darned effective. It's done everything I've needed to, though I was a little confused figuring it out.
