Great idea and presentation, a modern Norton Commander :)

The Modern UI needed a touch first file management app - this is it. From instant previews of video files to multiple file copies to recently inserted media, this app is a necessity for power users who transfer files between touch devices.

Ich hatte den Metro Commander schon einmal am Laptop, aber da war ich den Explorer einfach zu sehr gewöhnt - aber jetzt auf meinem Lumia macht er sich spitze! Bin vor allem begeistert, dass ich mir häufig verwendete Ordnerkombinationen zum Verschieben von Dateien direkt an den Start heften kann! Edit 14.6.15: Habe heute auch den integrierten Player erstmals ausprobiert - macht, was er soll! :-D

I've been using this app for years in its previous versions too, it's a great app.

As expected with a name like this, it resembles the Norton Commander or the DOS Navigator, does what I expect and is super easy to use. I highly recommend it.

Works basically like it should. Does more than other apps of its type, and does it better.

I love this app! This is the best app in the store, hands down!

I trialled this app solely for its purported MKV support and I was not let down. Metro Commander is now my default video player on my Surface RT. The price tag is a little high but the convenience and features are worth it imo.

This App Works Well and Allow you to view numerous file types in one place and also let you move them and archive them all an the same app

Highly recommended. It links to all the cloud storage services. It also lets you see two drives side by side.

This app is a great file manager, a great video player, and it can do both of those equally well from local storage and network storage. The cherry on top is its ability to play to other devices, even uncertified ones such as xbmc.

wonderful app. A must have

The easy to use app gives the user a view into the drives and their contents and to manage the files (move, copy, delete)within the app itself. Amazingly, it can even play video files in the MKV (and other) formats which has been lacking till now.

I have used this app for awhile, and it has not let me down. Other than the occasional hiccup, which is standard with ANY program or APP, I would recommend this to anyone.

In my opinion this is a excellent program for viewing various files, pictures or html files so you can see what is on your computer and do with them as you please

This is quite an improvement on Windows file manager.
