Good for first year musical students to learn the notes locate on both the treble and bass cleft. However, it could expand to notes located many steps above and below each cleft.

If you need to learn the Treble and Bass Clef staff notes without the aid of flash cards this will help - if you have some prior knowledge of note reading. This application needs a few more features and then it would be stellular! For instance, a way to keep individual stats separate from other users. I teach music lessons and will let my students use this app during lesson time as a reward and learning tool; an expansion of note ranges - inner and out leger lines. Just to name a few :)

Great way to teach kiddos basic sheet music. Majors and minors would be a nice addition.

Excellent app. I have used it with two of my piano students already. I love how easy it is to answer and it doesn't let you move on until you have chosen the right note name. However, PLEASE PUT A LEDGER LINE THROUGH MIDDLE C!! Right now middle C is just D but slightly lower. This is a huge thing to not have right. This is the only reason why I rate so low...

This is great app to let you get some extra practice recognizing notes on the staff. The time clock is great because you obviously need to be able to recognize notes quickly in order to play them on an instrument. This game is not to teach you notes on the staff, but to let you practice and increase recognition speed.

This is cool and very helpful. I like it. This is very similar but better than what I made a few years ago using power point.

I installed it merely because I was curious to know my "Notes Per Minute," which I discovered to be 40 in the treble clef and 34 in the bass clef. :D Anyways, I'm not sure how accurate this number even is since it includes the time it takes me to recognize the note as well as find the note name and click on it. Also, it would be cool if it had the options of reading ledger lines and even alto or tenor clefs. Overall, this is a fun and simple app and should help me improve my sight reading. :)
