I use this app for getting news on all my Windows devices. It is the best source I have for news. It is the best news aggregator I have found. I use it for all my news. You would be crazy not to download it and use it!

I've used News Republic for some time now. I felt the Win8 app wasn't quite as tight as the Android app until today. They fixed the sidebar list which couldn't be persistently turned off until now. When you go to the main screen it will now remember where you were instead of starting off all the way left again forcing you to scroll right. The app has always been easy to use, and very clean.
I've pretty much switched to NR and love these newest changes. I feel it's finally a truly excellent Windows 8 app. Thanks for the work to make this such a wonderful new reading app. Try it, and you're likely to be very happy. Such a clean and easy to use newsreader will remain on top of my app list for a long time.

Whether or not News Republic had an app for Windows 8 was my make or break decision factor for getting a surface rt. I use it on my android phone and love it. This one is just as good.

This app deserves no less than 5 stars because this app puts all the news that I am interested right at my fingertips. I found out about this app from the Windows store and now I have this on my iPod Touch and Windows phone 8. Excellent app.

I've installed this in my Nexus 7 & 10 and I like everything about it. Installed this app on my recently purchased Surface RT. As good as its Android version.

I have used News Republic on Android for the past 6 months and am now using it on my Surface RT. I love the design and flow on the Surface and think they did a really great job designing the features to fit the capabilities of Windows RT. The selection of articles is great and it's a great way to get a rounded dose of news. I'm very pleased.
