When I got this a while ago it was fine, does what it needs to but a UI refresh wouldn't go astray. however recently I have been having an issue on all my devices where I cant sign in anymore or it wont refresh content. I do have a current subscription but sign in isn't wanting to work. once this works again it'll be great but until then back to the web client I guess...

Paid 7 dollars for this app 2 weeks ago and now it doesn't work anymore and uninstalled itself and it is impossible to get a refund

even if I do create an app password, and authorize my device, and the whole song and dance. App simply refuses to log in. Back to the web player, I guess.

This app revived my interest in my Gen1 Atom 8.1 tablet. The app works perfectly and smoothly. Two minor features that are missing are spacebar play/pause (dev is working on it---not easy). Second feature is missing auto thumbs-up playlist, but the workaround is to make another playlist with the thumbs up. You can still give thumbs up and down. Support the dev and buy this app; you'll love it!
15 May 2015
good app, updated when api changes happen pretty quick. worth the dollars.
11 May 2015
It's just as good as the android version, IF NOT BETTER! But it is the best play music app I've ever seen! There are a few others on this store I like but this one is my favorite! Thanks Developer!
25 April 2015
Only issue, when I preview the album cover while the song is playing is there anyway to make the album cover full screen instead of a little picture?
22 April 2015
love this app but I wish there was a way for it to work with my keyboard media controls to advance or pause tracks
22 April 2015
I really don't have anything to complain about with this player. The only thing I would like to see is the ability to move/drag songs around in playlists and the ability to edit song metadata, though they don't detract from the experience enough to not warrant five stars.
21 April 2015
Occasionally bugs will pop up keeping me from listening offline, but they are quickly fixed.
14 April 2015
This app does everything I want it to and it does it right. Everything works. Other apps I have tried (gmusic and client for google music) don't work smoothly and don't handle playlists at all. Outcoldplayer does both. Last.fm integration is a major plus and is integrated appropriately. Caching music offline works well and is a great feature. The interface is well designed and despite minimal appearance includes all relevant information at a glance. A nice detail is that it shows the buffering percentage when you play a song. No other google play client I have seen shows this. Overall I am very pleased with this app. It is everything I have been looking for out of a windows store app. Finding good apps in the windows store is seemingly impossible but outcoldplayer is one of the best.
9 April 2015
Love it.
23 March 2015
I will like it bettr as oon as I have songs in the queue.
22 March 2015
This is by far my most-used Windows 8 app on my Surface Pro 3. It's much better than Google's native Music app, and it gets even better when combined with the Google Music unlimited subscription. Very useful, very user-friendly and well-designed. Highly recommended.
19 March 2015
Needs a LOT of UI/UX work. They need to fix the constant error popup regarding music you own that stops playing the music. Not a fan of being charged just to remove ads on a FREE service...or in the case of All Access a service we already pay for. Not worth the price charged if there aren't any added features.
Needs better control layout when in thin/phone width. To skip or get to other controls you have to tap tap tap. Making the bottom section better optimized shouldn't be too much to ask so that I can skip tracks, etc...do more than pause/play.
16 March 2015
I've always thought the web player for Google Music is sluggish to load and use. This app is responsive, full-featured, and functional. Has great support for pin view and is quick to buffer and switch between screens. Exactly what I was hoping for!
16 March 2015
On my surface pro, the icons on the left sidebar and the default album cover art are slightly blurry. More hidpi assets would be nice. Finally, an option to hide the icons and logos on the left sidebar would be nice, they clutter up the otherwise beautiful UI.
16 March 2015
Updates your library whenever you use Google Play Music on another device and has a simple to use interface. Love it! Hands down the best player if you already use Google Play Music, very glad I downloaded it.
16 March 2015
Just was is needed to help integrate the Google and Microsoft worlds together. My only hope is that they add an easier way to download entire albums, currently offline is handled by individual tracks which is a very minor gripe.
13 March 2015
Superior to the built-in Windows 8 player. Don't know if it's because I'm used to Google Music's layout & already have my playlists setup, but compiling a list of songs in Window 8's default music-playing app is tedious beyond belief. App has been consistently updated and its competitor, GMusic, which this player used to go buy, is overpriced for something that this app does so incredibly well. Includes Songza integration.
Additional fixes, I think, would be good: Ability to scroll through playlists via touchpad/mouse. Currently, it seems its only touch-scree capable, which means that if you're using a non-touchscreen laptop or secondary monitor, you'll have to use touchpad gestures to navigate the list, which is awkward and tedious when you're using a giant monitor in tandem with a small touchpad.
13 March 2015
Whenever I pause music, when I play it again it is muted and I have to scrub to get it to play again.
10 March 2015
Prefer it even to the in-browser listening.
Very simple and elegant layout, syncs changes automatically, and for others like myself who have All Access it works flawlessly with radio, search, etc.
9 March 2015
This has the potential to be my only music player but lack of local music support keeps it from getting 5 stars.
9 March 2015
easy to use... love it... maybe you could find a way to download to your device then doing one at a time
8 March 2015
I have been using google music since the beta. Awesome app, using it in windows 10 TP, highly recommend for anyone that uses google music.
8 March 2015
While I'm new to Windows 8, this is the first App that wasn't produced by MS that is done well. Connect seamlessly with my Google Play account and is organized in a fashion that is clean and easy to use.
One issue that I have found is that sometime a song will skip ahead while the application is in the background. It's not all the time so I haven't been able to pinpoint any consistent application that I might have open to cause a conflict.
7 March 2015
very good app for google play music
5 March 2015
This app is awesome! Finally I can listen to my google music that has already been purchased. I tried other apps only to find that I had to spend more money for their apps to work properly. Loving this app!
4 March 2015
User interface is great, app looks good, performs as advertised. I love being able to have this application open in the background on my Surface Pro 3 to play music rather than keeping a dedicated browser window open. Before I downloaded the app I always seemed to accidently close the entire browser when not using the internet, forcing me to re-open and re-start the music. Integrates nicely with my play, pause, and fast forward buttons on the external keyboard I use.
2 March 2015
I love this Third Party solution. I use it on my 7 inch winbook windows tablet, and I plug it into my TV/Stereo System. So I can listen to all of the music that Google has. I change the setting to larger (While keeping the same resolution), And it works perfectly. Hope you keep making it better and better. Like having a easier way to scroll through artists, and albums. Maybe a letter that comes up and tells you where you are when you are scrolling. Love it.
