Digitize images of labels, receipts and small forms into structured data fields. Manage data electronically by organizing it into individual collections. Move images through a simple, yet powerful, workflow that includes assembly, excavation, edit, review, and export.
Optionally configure the app to use commercially-available OCR engines to automatically convert excavations into text. ScioTR compensates for situations where OCR alone fails. This is often the case when the layout or format of text in source images is not consistent or extra material in the image causes errors. Try it with your own forms, receipts, CD or DVD covers, product labels, invoices, business cards, natural history collections, etc. Customize your own data fields or use pre-configured options like the built-in expense report template.
Create reports with embedded images and send them to your printer; including print-to-file printers like XPS Document Writer, OneNote, or virtual PDF printers. Export entire data collections in CSV format to packages that contain user-excavated (cropped) images. In advanced scenarios, your programmers can develop software that imports these packages into another system.
ScioTR has a full-feature 30-day trial period with 2,500 excavations included. Additional excavations are available as an in-app purchase in increments of 10,000 for $2.99 (0.000299 cents per excavation). There is no in-app advertising. Your financial support is appreciated as our development team is committed to fixing bugs and continuing to improve this app.
