At the price of $3.99 this is a steal. Great app that is universal. Buy it on your PC and also pic it up for free on Windows Phone or visa versa. Look, it just works and it works well. After trying the app there was no way I was not buying it. My only issue is that on the WP side it seem to hiccup sometimes at periods and can be a bit distracting but not enough for me to not use the app on the phone. Seems to work flawlessly on the PC side. Now for my wishes for this app. Please get it to work with Bing news and sports and I am golden. Yes it is not perfect but I gave it a 5 star review cause it is BOSS at doing what it does and I am loving it so far. Listening to long form post now are cake while washing dishes or on the PC at work. Love it!

I first got the trial and then purchased it. One of the key reasons was the response of the support time. At first there was a minor problem with the program on my system. They responded right a way, created an update and it works perfectly!

Currently will not play audio of any converted file type - app crashes during every attempt. Tried to uninstall then reinstall, restart PC, and tried Wikipedia web pages, ESPN articles, Word documents. All would convert to audio files, but none would play. Will update if issue is resolved. Update: After a reinstall today, a start-up message notified me of a possible corruption in regedit.exe causing the app to crash. Followed the listed steps to possibly fix it and it now works perfectly. Thank you for a great app which I'm sure I'll use fairly often.

I think this app would be more useful if I could open up a document and read from there. I would like to see and be able to read the document along with the audible. Also play stops when opening another program or apps

I'm so disappointed to give one star. I wanted this app to work. It's a great concept. So I installed the trial on my XPS 18 with Windows 8.1. When the window opened I clicked on "Tutorial". Nothing happened. Clicked again; nothing. I experimented with ways of sharing. Opened a PDF file; it went through some preparatory actions, but didn't read. I clicked on an icon representing the file in the window, and it began to read, but stopped as soon as I clicked away. I copied some text for it to read, but the "Paste" option was disabled. Thinking it couldn't handle RTF or HTML, I made sure what was in the clipboard was strictly text. Still no Paste option. I worked with the program for about an hour before sadly uninstalling it and posting this review.

"IMPORTANT: sharing is available only from the version of Internet explorer that you start from the Start screen, if you use the version that is pinned to the desktop by default, share won’t be available. It requires Internet explorer to be the default browser. Sharing is currently not supported by other browsers (Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera)." There's a few potential dealbreakers as well as one non-negotiable dealbreaker in the very first section of their tutorial page.

If you are a writer, after many hours of writing and proofreading. Why not take your table and relax and let this app read to you? Indeed that is what I'm using it for and I am very glad. I even added a Word file of 13955 words, no problem at all. The app handled it very well. The natural reading approach is great. Although there are some words like Biblical names, wherein the pronunciation is a little bit off, but however the overall function is very good. Thank you thank you.

Works perfectly as described. The UI is kind of boring but you hardly need to interact with it. Just highlight > charms > share > play.

Crashes while doing side by side computing Keep taking over my default setting of opening Word PDF and PPT Order and breaking errors in paragraphs when importing documents Why not displays original document layout that can be highlighted for where to read on top (as an option), instead of having merely a long flow of texts on the left

App is generally pretty good. Simplistic design, easy to use, auto pausing at commas and periods. There's a bug with webpages though: it pauses at random places in the middle of the sentence and that is very annoying

It does what it says on the tin, but it's lacking some things. The popup next to the volume control doesn't seem to work properly. It also needs a speed setting. The only speed available is a bit slow, especially if you've used similar programs at 2x speed.
