This is just not it not learning books books

The descriptions of each book all are filled with odd script. It seems like the information was cut and paste with no editing by the app creator. I am in question as to why so many apps in windows store are filled with reviews of what appears to be the app developers placing. Empty misrepresenting comments of the application. The idea of a collection of programming books is attractive to me. I was hoping that this was more then what seems to be an application put together in a rush and then just abandoned. I have been in hopes to learn more about programming and looking forward to some good books to read or at minimum be directed to good reads. Greatly disappointed at much of what I found here.

Doesn't work on any of my tablets or desktops or all-in-one and that is very disappointing because sounds as if it can be a great app. All I get is the title page and the circling stars. This happens on all four devices.

Just updated a Surface2 that my wife handed down to me after she upgraded. Tech Bookie used to work great on my RT. No luck on the Surface2, 8.1, all updated. No clues. Hints, anybody? Booted the RT and same result. Application is now officially broken.

Start the app, watch the orange screen and white dots, and then it minimizes and returns to the Task bar.

I was really shocked at how many great free books this has. I've been wanting some go to books for CSS3 and HTML5 and I was not disappointed in the options I had. Thanks!

This app is amazing. My only complaint is that it seems to be crashing when I try to view/download a book. It could be the family safety filter.

This is a huge library of free books to learn from. Very popular ones at that.
