I have had weather bug for Windows 8 about 1+ years now. The App has recently been giving me wrong temperature, shows sunny picture when it's raining, no more forecast etc. I'm feeling like I may just uninstall if no charge.

'current' conditions doesn't display info. How do I correct this? Rating was great till this problem.

the alerts flash as your trying to read them, makes it unusable!

I'm trying to understand how the rain for this area could show 30% change today yet when you go thru the hours it shows 10%. How accurate is your app or what do I have to do to make it more accurate? Perhaps something that I'm doing? Thanks

The app selected the wrong location for my home location and now I cant change it. Changing the home location should be easier and more obvious if I can even change it at all!

It is raining right now and the app says it is sunny with 0% chance of precipitation. I have set the correct location and weather station. Any other weather app has better results

This app is great when it works. It takes a long time to load. The features are great except for the map feature "animation". I can't get the maps to animate or move to show the trends in the area.

Won't let you delete home location, even though it selected wrong one, nearly 200 miles away.

have a 2015 computer, this weather bug doesn't chirp like my very old weather bug used to do so you new when something was happening

Had WeatherBug on a previous computer and loved it. This edition is not as good. Does not give continuous display in toolbar as other version. I submitted photos that were accepted, later found someone had put their copyright on them, over-riding my own. I have the originals still on my camera card as proof of ownership, but this version isn't using photos anyway. Still, better than nothing when needed to know what to wear outside in morning.

The tile alternates between giving weather information and a useless picture. Why not alternate between different weather stations or give some other weather information instead of a useless picture?

Unfortunately did not work with my computer (Windows 8)

win phone 8.1 has the sparks (real time lightning strike report) sub-app...why it is missing from the win 8.1 desk/lap top version?

Like some other reviews read, they need to seriously work on the sync of data. I have the app on iPhone and iPad and it is always current while this Windows version is always behind and in accurate with the forecast and current weather info. The only thing that's accurate at the same time are the radars.

Looks good but rarely syncs. Temps weather and forecast can be as much as 24 hours old. No (obvious) way to force resync or set sync frequency.

Like this program alot

The local information is pretty good. Forget about the radar maps. They never update.

Can't compete with the NOAA weather web site. Controls don't work on SP3 touch screen.

The latest version for Windows 8.1 is a MAJOR step down from the previous one. Current version uses the whole screen but is very limited in its functionality. There is no hourly forecast that had been in the earlier version. The earlier version would display the temperature on the taskbar. The earlier version also only used part of the screen, not covering everything else.

The app for iPhones and Android tablets have more features but they are less powerful than a Windows based tablet with full Windows 8.1 installed. What I like about WeatherBug is being able to save numerous sites, not just 5, and also having the hourly forecast. I was told by WeatherBug before that the hourly forecast is more accurate as it is local to the station and updated hourly versus the 10-day forecast which is regional and updated only twice daily. Can the Windows based app get those features as well?

I really prefer the I-phone App. I miss the life styles section, the live cams, family and fitness forecasts, and definitely "Spark." There is almost no comparison between the two. I think this is just an average to below average weather App.

Tried to zoom in to find our home location. If you try to reposition the map to zoom in further it zooms back out.

Compared to other weather applications, the minimal functionality make this application useless for me. I need hourly weather with wind speed directions. All you get are the basics from this version.

Provides current weather based on local weather stations so you get the most accurate weather for your area as possible. Looks clean and doesn't crash like several other weather apps.

It would be great if it could pinpoint using GPS. Also, I can add the weather service close to me but I can't use it as default. It only will use a location over 3hours away as the default....
