ABPathfinder - Parent Pathway

ABPathfinder’s Parent Pathway app is designed to help parents of children with autism track the daily habits of their child, building a quantifiable base of knowledge that can indicate patterns in their child’s activities and behaviors. Sleep habits, diet, medication changes, social changes and environmental changes all impact a child’s moods, behaviors and ability to learn new skills. By tracking and communicating this information to the child’s therapists or educators, the parent provides critical information that can lead to minimizing obstacles and maximizing outcomes for their child. Information generated in Parent Pathways will soon be synched with ABPathfinder's Therapy Support Software. Be sure to tell your therapist or special educator about this tool designed to cut administrative time and refocus efforts on the child. For more information, please visit www.ABPathfinder.com.

Features:

  • Journal of daily activities
  • Track medication, diet, sleep habits
  • Communicate events to therapy team/educators

If you have a child who doctors are trying to find a diagnosis for, this does make tracking information easier for the parent. I like the way I can keep notes and track events easily.

Okay. Would like to be able to have more options on how the day was, maybe even being able to take pictures for journal entry

I have only used it for a week, as far as I can tell it's not a terrible program. I do wish for a chart that could show progress or regress in each type of For example: So we could see how social events, holidays, walks in nature, walks in the city, listening to music, playing music, singing, eating ( the things we try to help our kids interact better with) in 3 month increments.
