This app is totally free on google play and on Facebook, so why is there a charge?

Fixed the crash but added no new levels. That took over a month!!! Last update to my review and my rating will remain one star forever!

i'll admit that I enjoyed this game when it came out. bought it for windows 8. completed it all and waited patiently for the hoth update. all the other devices have the update, why not windows 8 for pc's? paid a premium price for it too. I even saw a commercial for the game to download for windows 8. *shakes head*. I would just like to know why windows 8 for pc's has not received the hoth update yet.?.?

Rovio claims it's impossible to release the Hoth update on all platforms simultaneously. I understand a couple weeks or so of delay, but iPhone/Android has had it for MONTHS. We pay 5x more than iPhone customers for this game and are treated like 2nd rate customers. I am tired of the prejudice against Windows users

The game is well over priced. Windows 8 users pay a premium yet we do not get the updates. The game some how lost all my progress. The game is not linked with windows mobile even if you are using the same gamer tag. Wait until the price comes down and for the hoth update to come out before buying.

Awesome game. My kids love it and so do I. Anyone complaining about it not being free like android users expect. This is not android. This games contains no ads, and is awesome in HD! Well worth the $4.99.
And seriously you spend more then that at McDonalds.
I'm truly sick of people and their entitlement attitude and expect everything to be free. Buy this, and may the force be with you!

Hey, Rovio. The least you could do is come out and say that you will no longer be supporting your games on the Win8/RT platform. It's about respect for your user base, unless you simply don't care.
You should feel terrible for everyone who wasted $5 on this garbage and expected the same level of support you give iOS and Android. What a huge rip off.

This really sucks. Game no longer works after update. Still waiting on a fix. Supposedly one is in the works. WHEN WILL THIS BE FIXED. IT HAS BEEN BROKEN TOO LONG!!!!!

Like everyone else, this is a great installment of Angry Birds. In the Windows world, many people have more than 1 PC. While I can install this game on up to 5 PC's, the game progress (and achievements) aren't roaming (at least not for me). Played a lot on my Win8 Pro tablet then came back to my desktop to see no progress transferred. I have a Surface too, but assume same issue. For an Xbox Live title, I would have expected game state to transfer through the cloud. Otherwise, awesome game!

Rovio finally fixed this app (which would always crash at startup) for Surface RT users after over a month. Their upgrade notes? "We addressed some minor issues in order to improve the user experience."
What kind of sadistic change log is this? MINOR issues? How is the app not launching MINOR? IMPROVE the user experience? I think you meant RESTORE. What a joke. Screw you too Rovio...
This is the last Rovio app I will ever pay for. Sorry I paid for this one.

This is simply unacceptable, Rovio is treating Windows users as second class ones and Microsoft is allowing it. I demand my money back immediately. I really regret buying a Surface tablet, it is an excellent product but all its content sucks, starting with examples as this.

Previously I'd rated it 3 Stars, now I'm updating it to 1 Star. I paid $4.99 on this garbage, and for MONTHS, there's no any updates at all! Guess what, I paid $0.99 for the same game on iPad, I've gotten all the updates, but I didn't really play the iPad version cause I love playing this game with a mouse. Rovio is really screwing PC gamers. Not buying any garbage from this company again. This is my first and last game from Rovio on all of my PCs/devices.

I understand they are trying to make these like Arcade games on the 360 but come on! $4.99 for a game that is FREE on my android devices? Not worth the price, Ill take ads over paying $5 for a game I can play for free on my Phone or Tablets.
The game itself is the only Angry Birds worth playing in my opinion and they implemented the Star Wars abilities almost flawlessly. 4 Stars for the game 0 for greedy companies.
