Best geek news app that really works for windows metro

The app closes itself after a few minutes of use. Cant use it now....so sad as I use it everyday. Hope its solved soon.

To me this is the best App of its kind but i will love you introduce a feature from the android app to can read the articles that i save to read offline

Update: The count of articles is not showing. Sharing an article is "kind of working" now - I can share with one of two email apps---and to Microsoft Music app (? why ?).
Shame this app doesn't work EXACTLY like its Android App, which is one of my favorite Android apps.

I have two email apps on my PC (Yahoo mail and the built-in Windows mail) yet when I try to share articles (via the Charms menu), the only app available to share with is Bing Translate!! PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!
Why don't the Topics contain---topics? I view the Galaxy Note II topic and there are articles (not ads) for purchasing laptops!! NOTHING to do with the topic!

This app has all of the great geeky stories that I love to read in the morning with my coffee. However, the aesthetics are old and dated in this version. The version on the WP8.1 is nicely done with a great look, but this version seems to be left out of any updates. Please update this app so that it has an easier control and better look.

This is a great app but recently while running (Windows 8.1), it will kick me back to the Windows desktop where it has been minimized (after reading about 10-15 articles ). Clicking on the minimized button restarts the program (loses place where I was in reading articles). Will give 5 stars when this gets fixed.

Earlier it was working fine and now it is asking the permission to enable it in background and when i choose run in background allow no action is performing

The newest version fixes some frustrating behavior and the ui is nicer. Would definitely recommend.

10/30/2014: It is stable now.
Great app, but it frequently crashes. Reading an article and then poof, no article. Have to restart.
Hope it gets fixed soon.

Why cant we get this and the WP app on par with IOS and Android. We want the same experience if not better and the same notification sounds.
