I've looked for a good free mkv app for a long time. Most of them have been free trials, or they just wouldn't work. This is the first legitiment mkv app I have found. For free this is great. It may be a little slow starting movies, but I think that has something to do with storing the file first. I'm not very computer savvy, but I do love this app. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't so slow, but honestly it works perfectly other then that! I would pay a couple dollars for this app if it weren't free.

Since I installed this, my computer has been crashing, freezing, running slow...in short, acting like it installed a virus. This is the ONLY thing I have installed or run new in MONTHS and the ONLY thing I connected to internet for in DAYS. Computer was fine before install-->now crashing...HMM... It is a bit awkward to use at first, and WONT PLAY THE SOUND WITH MOST MOVIES!!! Sometimes it works, sometimes not! It also doesn't recognize some of the closed captioning files. These same files play fine with other players. NOW I can't split the screen, minimize or even pause/play without errors! It is making the video choppy, going black...Just when I didn't think it could get worse! YOU KEEP LOSING STARS PEOPLE!!!
