Yes, I just bought it but it plays great. You have to really learn how to fly it to really get the most out of the game. It DOES have joystick support. Virtual Dpad - I'm still getting a hang of. I'm not sure its worth $6.49 for an older game but it is fun and when its on-sale, I couldn't resist.

If you can set the graphics to the highest level the game is pure eye candy with good looking skylines and nicely details aircrafts but for the rest of us (SRT) it still looks good. Controls handle well and thats needed because you will be searching every direction to find who is gunning at you. It seems the enemies are always flying by you and its difficult to keep up at times even when there are lots of red dots on your radar and that can be frustrating. Explosions could be a little more exciting

I gave 2 stars because graphics look nice, especially on my tablet. BUT the controls are terrible! The Virtual joysticks don't work on simulation mode. As I was going through the tutorials, when I got to landing and takeoff training I had no way of accelerating, only one virtual stick is shown, and it says to push forward to accelerate, but it's pitch control that it's telling me to move forward, and there is no other virtual stick for throttle. And there doesn't appear to be any joystick control. Settings say that there is joystick control option, but I can't get it work. And these are just a couple of issues I've been having. There are more, but don't have time to list them. This would be a cool game if it were patched to fix some of these issues.

Virtual d-pad in tutorial tells me to use thrusters using the given Joystick. It instead flips the plane. Accelerometer controls are still told to be used but don't work either. Completely busted. Save your cash.

I have had this app for three weeks and still cannot get it to run with either a joystick or a gamepad. The Help section so far, has been useless. If you plunk down money, view it more as a contribution than a purchase.

Got it on discount, and am surprised on how much the real price is. My opinion is that its way over-priced. Anywho it has awesome graphics, campaign doesn't, and there's a bunch of different modes. (CampaignBackroundIsAwful) The gameplay is a bit difficult and needs some getting used to. It's really cool though. There's free-flight, campaign, free-for-all, team deathmatch, dog fight?, and a lot more that I don't remember. Other than that don't buy it unless there's a discount. And you have to complete campaign to unlock more modern planes/new campaign with newer and better looking planes. And yeah that's it, the planes come with guns and missiles.
