Cook Me Up

'Cook Me Up' is a recipe book with a new concept as we say it 'Reverse Recipeing'. It means that as in general all cook books have recipe names and just show their recipes with ingredients and instructions, but here in 'Cook Me Up' we make it a little different by adding a functionality of choosing the maximum basic ingredients which are available in the kitchen from the ingredients list as in the app and then it would automatically give the best dish which can be made out of those ingredients. Here primarily we have Indian Vegetable dishes to be made as for the first version and later on in our project it would be expanded to global dishes. Now how to use this app, for example: Suppose if we have 'TOMATO', 'ONION', 'CURD' in our kitchen and would like something out of these three then selecting them and at bottom by clicking on 'Make' would generate an output dish called 'TOMATO ONION RAITA', which would have its image , complete ingredients list and the instructions for making our dish with desired ingredients. Its simple and fun to use this app when you think what should I prepare for lunch or dinner, you just need to add the ingredients you have and let this app think about what you can dine on .

Features:

  • Good Recipes
  • Simple To Use
  • Nice GUI

Yeah that's what I'm getting always while entering my commodity in "What's in you kitchen" category. Rest all is good, the recipes are presented in simple way which is the plus point for the app.

Nice Concept but you need to work on few areas to make your app catchy. Use Segoe UI (the primary Windows typeface) for UI elements such as buttons and date pickers.

nice interface...n also a different app...but picking up food items is a little tacky, because I could hardly come up with anything when I chose...maybe you could work out on that..maybe provide suggestions...

hey, I installed this app and launched. I really liked the concept and UI also. but when I selected some items from the grid in the middle/front of the screen and clicked " Cook me up" button, it says-"OOPS! spry, but we couldn't find the perfect match....." and it's happening for every item. I tried selecting more than one item and in combination but it didn't work properly. Also, you should add search and sharing feature that would give the application more exposure!

You can add a Gridview with padding and use the Hub View instead.

if any one can't decide what to cook ,or just what some change from regular pace here is a good app for them. I would like to recommend the following suggestions : - scroll doesn't work in the recipe . - try to add more recipes.
