Looks great and with all that's happening on screen it runs smoothly. Even tries to involve you with a storyline... nothing too interesting. I personally never get a true sense of what's going on. Don't really know who I'm blasting at I simply keep tapping the screen and attempt to dodge shots from everywhere. Its just fun enough that you just keep playing until the at times awkward and sluggish yet touchy controls frustrates you to the point you quit. Sounds are typical but at the same time adequate for this type of game and overall its an okay arcade shooter it just has some issues that may stop you from buying the full game. I think the price is too high.

While the visuals are decent, the game is just too short for the hefty price tag. Also, the controls become troublesome whenever you are on the ground or in a vehicle. The achievements also have issues. The developer needs to do a favor to everyone who bought the game and that is to put out some free dlc with fully working achievements.

ExZeus 2 has flying, on foot, and vehicle (a motorcycle in the demo) portions, but all three feel lacking. While flying, it's difficult to know when enemies fire back, and I using the targeting button is almost unnecessary. While on foot, you move slowly and turning is a pain. On your bike, you can basically hold left and even though you'll go through the sidewalk, enemies will almost never hit you. You're given the ability to dash to either side and run, but it's not very useful. The first stage felt like it took forever simply because I wasn't having fun When I finally made it to the boss, I immediately died. Turns out you can't even fight the boss unless you pay for the full version. To it's credit, you can use a gamepad and it does connect to Xbox Live, but I never unlocked an achievement through multiple plays, which should never happen. Even in a demo, you should be able to unlock a couple of achievements to reward players to continue playing.

Works great on my older Lenovo laptop+Plays smooth on Venue 8 Pro. looks like a fun game. Edit; Those stuck on first boss, Buy the game to continue. It is Trial for a reason

No way to control the robot /player... I just end up getting killed over and over, and there are no controls.... PLZ HELP
