This is a great app with one annoying quirk, the save does not default to the folder where the photo was opened from. When bulk editing photos it is a real pain that you don't have the option to easily update the original pic or save a copy in the original folder. Other than this, outstanding and easy to use app.

One of the best photo editor, I can find in store, if not the only one. I particularly like tilt shift effect. It's quite handy. Love the interface, it's simple, fast and easy to use. By the way, Awesome Job!!!

I used this app recently in combination with the HP scan app to scan a bunch of old pics, edit them and upload to dropbox.
I was able to crop, rotate, and adjust color perfectly fine on my surface using touch. The pics uploaded to dropbox with no problem. This is no photoshop, but it gets the job done.

This app is simple enough for a first time photo editor in my house to learn and yet full featured enough where I can do more complex effects.
(Brightness, contrast, crop, resize etc.) Perfect for eBay photos and more!

pictures that aren't taken in landscape will be scewed and cannot be fixed. they are stretched to fit in a rectangular landscape box

In less than 2 minutes, I just loved this app. Pretty complete app for basic photo edition. Fast, fluid and super-easy to use.

This is by far the most useful and the most intuitive picture editing app in the windows store. I use it on my Surface RT most of the time and it's always fun to using it.

Rotor will not open raw files from my Canon 7D, Nikon n1 v2, or Olympus E-M5 even though the description says it will open over 100 raw formats.

When you understand the workflow, it's so easy to use.
You want to re-edit some parts, just return that mode, for example, to adjust the text again, just tap the text button, and tap the words you typed, drag to rotate or change the size etc.

Great photo editing features and effects and text tools. Would be better if it could automatically save the original images or the newly edited images in a separate folder under the same title instead of having to type a new title or retype the original title during the saving process. Photo straightener is in the CROP menu (due to auto cropping edges after straightening them), but would be easier to find under EDIT. Image resizer only to decrease an image size, but doesn't increase (can't change a small image into a wallpaper). Also, although it has got some good text tools, you cannot specify the font size, but you can resize the text box and the program will auto-fix the font size, which limits your choice. Moreover, once you exited the program or opened a new file, you cannot go back and re-edit the text nor undo any other actions. Missing scan, red eye/mole removers. I don't trust it printing borderless images--The Print Preview shows a white border for most photos, if not all.

When you try to make a collage, it stretches all your pictures. As far as I can tell, there's no way to make it keep the ratio of each picture and no way to manually switch them. I'd like the option to make it "fit to box" for each picture without altering the quality of the picture.

As a pro photographer, I am pleasantly shocked by the ease of operation and range of 'the possible' here - and on a free app, particularly! I'm a PS 5.5 user, but for slightly *beyond* the basics of most, and which I will use for phone and tablet photos (though it can handle RAW!) I will be working with this for my impromptu shots. Kudos. I'm spreading the word...

I got this app because I like to post pictures and that kind of stuff, and make them awesome. Well this app does a very good job for a free photo editing app. It is the best one yet. I tried almost all of the photo editing apps they have on a windows 8 this is the best!!! It has quiet a bit of options you can choose from. So much to say cant fit it in this 500 word review. I really Love This FOTOR app!!!! #1
