This App Is very useful and very easy to use.

We have about 80 gigs of music and 70% of that is my wife's stuff, and most of that I have no interest in. At first I was frustrated that I couldn't tell it what I like, couldn't upvote or favorite things. But somehow this app singled in on JUST what I like, without me having to favorite things or anything. It's confusingly amazing. Please, oh, please make a Windows Phone app.

Pure awesomeness, but when i removed my sd card and placed it back... it can't read m music library anymore

This ap is great way of rediscovering your old music. Good at picking similar songs within genres and making nice playlists. The now playing screen is still bland. That is the one thing that the XBOX music player does well. Moving / changing artist backdrop on the now playing screen look great on XBOX. But still find myself using groove more often unless I'm playing music in my main AV room with a 54" plasma screen. Burn in sux ... ;-)

Great app

I've been searching for a music player like this for a very long time and I am now relieved. It would be nice if I could add my own artist picture or album artwork if it is not the one I want. Lyrics wouldn't hurt either. But other than that, this is awesome! DEFINATELY recommend it!

As always the problem with every single music App here, it does whatever it wants with the album covers, changes some, doesn't find others. I'm gonna give it a try in hopes that this gets better because the App really looks amazing, I usually unistall the App when my album art gets messed up with.

This app rocks, but it might defeat the purpose of not having to create manual playlists, but is possible for you to give us the option to create our own playlist but also leave the auto mix. Otherwise rocking music player!

The only thing I did not get it - how to add more tracks to the playlist.

it creates playlists for my different music genres. I also like the surprise bit of the app. its downside however is that it leaves some songs out and cannot get them to play. or you cannot even find them in the app

Best than the Xbox app

First thing is that it doesn't display all the music that WMP has and it supposed to be using its database. I guess its a bug. Also, you can't create a custom playlist!!! That's seems like a major oversight.

How can it be powered by last.fm and yet not scrobble?

it imports info of all your songs from web which is amazing in itself.. and nice look too.

I have this app on my phone and LOVE it. I don't know how this one works, though, for 8.1. At least I'm hoping that's it? I can't find how to see what is playing, other than in the mini-player that shows up when the volume changes. Nor can I find how to link to my last.fm account to scrobble. I love these playlists though; they're the best I've found.

love the look and the mixes it produces with my library of music. Really forgot I had some really good music on my pc.

Xbox music the default metro music player that windows comes with and it is pretty bad. I have been searching for a better music player for my personal library and this is the best one I have come across. There are a few things that I would like to see added. -Search function -Album artwork in the mini-player that pops up changing volume -Ability to browse for new album artwork if Groove is unable to add Other than that, I would say this app is the best out there, but hopefully they will keep improving on it and add some more features.

Cannot get all album art to work which is frustrating. Layout is amazing. Would like to be able to manually change album art and artist picture. Still this app has 10 times better layout and controls then stock music app. I would pay $20 for this app if I could fix album art myself

I have tried a lot of Win 8 player apps on my Dell Venue 8 Pro and this one ranks at the top of the list along with the standard player from Xbox. For those with large and varied libraries, this app rocks. It automatically creates play lists based on your library and varies the mix so you can automatically sample different selections based on your mood. It also allows you to search your library the standard ways by album, artist or tag (genre). It automatically detect changes to your library, and it has a refresh button that will do it on demand. It has cool album art and convenient layout. It plays back seamlessly in the background with the tablet screen off. Be sure to set Windows sleep to some long duration because the app will stop when computer sleeps And Windows does not allow the app to be the default player. It lacks user defined playlists, but that is available with the Xbox player and Monkey player.

This app uses your music library that you already have on your computer.
