Absolutely love this app. Very well designed and accurate to the series. When used on a small tablet it is really fun. My only complaint and the reason I didn't give my stars is the e-reader application. The app didn't retain my place on a book I was reading. If this can be fixed I'll give it a full 5 star.

Creators might look into making programmable hot keys to give ability to launch other programs, also weather can be improved, and the addition of perhaps optional Planetarium and a separate Satellite tracking app might be good to add as well. all said, this could be the best of its type ive seen so far. One hopes the creators read these and are keeping up with updates and get them out to us. 3 stars for now and if I see improvements, then will give more. keep up the good works guys!

First time I've felt compelled to write a review for a Metro/Modern/Whatever app, but this thing is really fantastic! Especially if like me you have a Surface then this is an absolutely must-buy... the sights and sounds are pretty authentic (as authentic as an app based on a work of fiction can be anyway) but the best part is there's some LEGITIMATELY useful functionality here! I mean, for the longest time my music player was AIMP, which I had on my Surface screen while I did my main work on an external monitor. Now, I leave LCARS full-screen on the Surface screen and use it's music player... and on top of that I can quickly access weather, a calculator, a notepad, and more. It's not just a toy is what I'm really saying (though it's got plenty of eye candy and totally fun stuff too!). It's actually increased my productivity. So yeah, if you're a Star Trek fan, and ESPECIALLY if you have a Surface, buy this thing now, you won't regret it for a second!

HOWEVER NO I AM LIKE RED ALERT! GOT THE MOBILE APP TOO...FLAWLES! ESPECIALLY THE WEB INTERFACE THATS NOT ON THIS VERSION! THATS A HINT BTW THE WAY.. HUGE HUGE HINT! IT RULES . HOE ABOUT BUSTING A MOVE ON HAVING SOME TILES THAT WE CAN SELECT ITS DEFAULT APP OURSELVES. LIKE I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO CHOOSE MY MEDIA PLAYER. SERIOUSLY HOW FRIGGIN UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME WOULD IT BE TOO BE ABLE TO DISPLAY MILKDROP 2 OR PROJECT M VISUALS INSIDE THE INTERFACE! IT WOULD BE LIKE W H A T! This app is absolutely incredible. It has an incredible range of features for the price and is certainly more than a novelty that you open a few times for kicks and then never again. The game is a fun throwback. It's fantastic that the developer continues to add to this app instead of creating new ones that I'd have to buy or forcing in-app purchases. Glitches are always fixed in a timely manner and the developer always responds promptly to email is with a genuine interest in users and adding the functionality I'd like to see. I'd give this app 6 stars if I could!!
