Best e-reader so far. Rendering is better than Freda.
For me it needs only 2 things to be complete.
1. Ability to highlight
2. Ability to open PDFs - that way i can have my epubs and pdfs in a single app.

This is one of the best readers for ePub files on the store right now, free at that. But I feel this program would benefit greatly and add a further clientele if they added a highlighting/underlining feature. I get it, its a "reader", but I enjoy highlighting and underlining key points in my pub files.
Food for thought.

Each and every book or file you try to read "loads" every time you open it or even turn portrait to landscape (yes turning your tablet causes the whole file to be reloaded)!!
3 March 2013
I would like to be able to highlight text with a few pastel colors. I had consistent problems with Hyperlinks jumping to wrong page; other ePub readers get this right so hopefully an easy fix. Created a copy/note, but it didn't leave a highlight marker. After that the program kept crashing so I had to uninstall. I really like the potential of this app and would pay $ once it gets fixed. A recent update damaged the previously working Contents/Chapter band.

Great reader, formats very well, navigates well.. one of the best I've seen. But its missing a very important feature... you can't highlight text! Please add the ability to highlight in a future release and this could become my favorite app.
25 May 2013
Not nearly enough customization in fonts, sizes, colors, etc. Other than that, it's great... but those things are enough to keep me using the competition. Also, I have zero clue what method it's using to sort my bookshelf, it makes zero sense.
3 May 2013
I use this reader for E-pub documents and it is good for only reading those downloaded books. There isn't a means to highlight anything in the document. Also if you want to go to a link in the document it randomly jumps to a place other than the place I wanted it to go. I wish that was fixed then I would use it a lot more.
Update still has not fixed these issues. sorry nice try
27 March 2014
Very good product. I only wish I could customize colors.
6 July 2014
It handles every the way it should, with the ability to customize. I would like the option to add folders, in addition to adding files.
7 January 2013
Works Beautifully!
3 May 2013
By far the best ePub reader that I have try. Two improvements that I am looking forward to have: Faster book loading performance and page flip animation.
19 February 2013
Definitely best e-pub reader yet. Still finding that links within the document take me to the wrong place though.
9 September 2013
I downloaded this in hope of it being able to read all of my Ebooks (Epub etc). I did just that. While other apps were only capable of opening certain epub books, this one has been able to open all of them. It has a simple, clean, and effective design. I recommend this to anyone that has Ebooks that they would like to read on their laptop every now and then.
11 August 2013
It does a lot right. Allows importing of your own DRM free files, nice interface, fast page turns, bookmarking , notes, and a great Metro esthetic.
However formatting problems either by design or omission ruins this e-reader app for me. Missing bold and italics on all text where its present with the same imported epub on Nook and Blio apps. Then the FORCED left justification that removes the indentation of the first sentence of each paragraph plus left justifies centered paragraphs.
27 July 2013
I'm uninterested in adding my own books to the library. Recursion is a simple concept. Allow me to add my own books by directory and we're in business. I'm not going to sit through the same dialogues for every single book.
19 July 2013
1. An option to disable the category creating feature. Its infinitely annoying to open a book, only to be greeted by that dialog. please go back to the old ways
2. An option to go directly to my library, just like Microsoft's own music and video apps.
I get that these are really minor complaints/nitpicks, but these are a milestone if you want to give us a slim reader.
12 July 2013
Would love to see the scrolling view lag less. Unusable at the moment
3 July 2013
I liked it at first but then it became difficult to use. If you like simple apps for reading, download Nook.
18 April 2013
Requires sign-in, an unnecessary intrusion. Uninstalled.
13 April 2013
Performs great, has a night mode and some choices for font and spacing. Would love to see an updated version with Live Tile updates to show what I'm reading.
28 January 2013
1) PDF and F2B and Doc support
2) Nicer book shelf, so it could look like a library
3) Animation of turned pages
Other than that pretty good
16 January 2013
This is definitely the best epub reader I've found in Windows 8 so far. It looks pretty and ebooks load relatively fast.
However, there's no easy way to manage my library. Some more options here, such as sorting books according to alphabet, renaming books, etc. would be really nice to see.
I've also found on one or two occasion that my whole library disappeared and I have to import them again. Hopefully this will be fixed.
Thanks for the great app!
9 January 2013
Simply put. The best ereader right now for Windows 8. Much more simple than freda. It just does what it is supposed to and does it good. Hopefully, more features are coming.
17 February 2015
Very fast on Windows 8. No errors. Night mode works. Font changes great. Best free software for Epubs.
10 October 2014
A lot of features, including basic functionality, are missing from this app. Switching orientation or font size often messes with its internal page count, sending you back to the chapter start if you're lucky. Adding books from either cloud storage or networked hard drives is chancy at best, and often won't tell you why it didn't work. Despite creating an account, it never listed me as signed in, and always prompted mere to do so. It has promise, but is a barely functioning reader app right now. Uninstalled after a week of frustration.
15 September 2014
This reader has a lot of the functionality that I would expect from a top drawer app. The only reason that I gave it four stars instead of five was due to not being able to highlight specific passages in a book. This is one of the most important features to me as I use it to study with.
29 July 2014
There's no night mode button and other features for PDF files
5 May 2014
Fix it first.
12 February 2014
After importing a book from the internet, continually crashed after opening
2 February 2014
Good interface, but a lot of pagination errors (text goes missing if I change the font size). Had to uninstall, since I'm studying fir a test and can't afford to have missing text.
