They should have left this app well enough ALONE!!! It has become more difficult to get the treasure chests and if you do very rarely can you pick the lock. They obviously want you to spend more money on pearls to exchange for these spines, which I think is a very stupid idea!!! I liked the game better before they made all these changes!!!! Also the hide and seek game is very difficult to do when you can barely move around your reef, my movement has become very slow after these changes and that is not fair to us!!! PUT NEMOS REEF BACK THE WAY IT WAS!!!!

This used to be a fun game that's actually free, but no longer so with the latest update! They took away the free chests and chests you can open with sand dollars, making sand dollars completely useless, and forcing everyone to spend money in order to continue the game. What a shame!

Keeps you occupied for longer than you realize. Too bad there's so much "hinting" for the need to buy pearls, and you'll never work hard enough to get them. Be ready to buy them if you want a good reef. Still, overall fun and learning opportunities for kids!

Last update made this Game very much not interesting. BRING BACK free chests and chests with sand dollars, TAKE AWAY these stupid pick-a-lock ideas and hide and seek game! My whole Family is playing and ready to quit.

You dont get the weekend challenges. Graphics are missing so some of the temporary plants you can buy look invisible..Don't bother.. Also, xp requirements to level are greater for the windows version.. The ios and android versions are ahead of this one.. They have plants and features windows version hasn't gotten. PLEASE UPDATE!!!!

Love this app. But it seems not all features work. I have "homework" and part of it is to feed rare fish. I have a rare fish but there isn't any were to feed fish. This feature is missing in the game. Will keep playing to see if they add the feature and fix the current "quests" But I won't spend any real money on this app unless it is fully functional. Update, attracted 2 new rare fish and they have the feed fish option. Needs a help section or small guide to explain function and game play. I hit level 21 and had 41 Pearls and the game reset. I lost everything it took so long to collect and grow. Also on Windows 8 platform they have not updated it since the start. The game only goes to level 40 using windows 8. Contacted support and they can't do anything for me as I can not remember my full Reef name. I would not recommend this game.

Me and my daughter like this game a lot... We know it's really for young children, but we like the colors and the different fish... I just wish it was easier to get pearls...

Cute game with nice colorful graphics. Be prepared to be asked to purchase in-game currency "pearls" every thirty seconds and once you reach level 15 everything in-game costing an arm and a fin. It's also kind of shoddy that they give you missions that you can't decline where pearls are required to complete it. You will have a bunch of missions in the queue that you can't get rid of.

It looks fun but crashes after a few minutes. I have to reboot a lot.

The windows 8 version is fun and relaxing...but lacks the updates that the iOS version gets, as a result, this version is boring in comparison. There are fish, nursery items, special items and games within, that are not accessible here. Update the windows 8 version!

I ran all sorts of scans & video tests on my windows 8 touchscreen because the screen movement after this update is horrible. It is very slow and jerky - but just this app. And for the find squirt game, some say I have 4 minutes but after 1 & 1/2 it tells me I ran out of time. Bad, bad update. Go back please.

Great game, update is overdue. As of 7/12/14 the Windows store still has the original 2013 version (1.0.0.11). Apple (IOS) and Android are at ver 1.6.1 released April 2014. Also known as the Crush & Squirt update. This was a big release: * Patches - combines 4 plants/coral in single location. * Locked Chests * New quests * New Restricted/Rare plants and fish * Hide & Seek game with Crush and friends. Until the Windows update is available, you won't be able to see patches when visiting friends reefs.

Gorgeous imagery. But the Windows OS versions have less offerings. Disney needs to provide same experience across all platforms.

Could be costly if you're not patient.

What starts out as a cute game ends up being an excuse to ask for money. The "assignments" can be skipped by using pearls, which one can really only get by buying them with a credit card. Some tasks even require these pearls. This game reinforces the wrong message for children. You don't want to wait? Just pay more money and get it faster! Playing this game without a credit card (which is what I do) means many of the assignments end up unfulfilled, which is frustrating. I would not recommend this.

really fun and addicting

While this game requires pretty basic cognitive skills, it takes the mindset of at least a preteen to deal with the various challenges, variables, and numbers. It would be interesting to know if the various plants and corals in the game are actually real species, then it would have an educational bent too. Many of the challenges are difficult to accomplish without spending money on 'pearls,' one of the currency types used in the game-play, so beware of that. Overall, a fun tie-in to the world of Disney and something to do on my off time, or on the bus.

Win8 Version is far behind iOS and Android versions. No extra quests, no turtles, no monthly rare quests.

16 February 2014

I bought the limited time offer Blue Branching Seaweed and it doesn't show up on my map at all. The only thing that shows is the coin icon when its time to collect from it. Also on the Mystery Fish Quest on level 21, I planted 10 rare plants and 8 of them were new ones and I only got credit for 3. Please fix and I will change my rating back.

Game is different depending on operating system. I think should be the same across the board.
