The live tile will not connect me to the news when I click on it. I just get an orange screen. HELP!

app takes long time to open. "News" is not updated routinely. First screen (headline item) can remain unchanged for weeks.

What started as a decent news viewer has turned into just another poorly-coded, half-baked attempt at targeted marketing and political spin. The app has numerous known bugs where "reinstall the app" is the only resolution offered by Technical Support. Furthermore, the developers have decided to use an increasing number of dubious sources like: The Daily Beast, GOBankingRates, and Inside Edition which cannot be turned off or customized while reputable sources are diminished, unavailable, or no longer updated. By placing the Microsoft name on this product, they are unabashedly endorsing this painfully shoddy workmanship and awful tabloid journalism. Overall, this has become a thinly-veiled spin doctor/targeted marketing tool with a declining usefulness, increasing offensiveness, and no benefit to the user. Bad job!!!

since the may "update' of windows the time to access NEWS as well as WEATHER has risen to the unacceptable level of 4 minutes or better. I really have come to distrust Microsoft

NEWS ARE UPDATED DAILY on the live title tab but takes too longer time to load

This app has a tendency to close itself for no apparent reason. Although you are allowed to customize the News Feed on numerous occasions it has reloaded sections that I have deleted. The more individual news feed sections the slower the refresh.

The acommdations could.nt have been any better. I,ll definotiey recommend it to my friends. Sandy

New Bing redirect notifications are a nuisance.

This used to be a great app. Now I can't get it to install after several attempts. Not worth it. There are other news apps I will try.

The notification feature has shown me plenty of important news, the User Interface is beautiful and easy to navigate... generally a very cohesive news app

I didn't understand what was happening until I read the other reviews. I have had this app for several years & all of a sudden it keeps crashing. There was nothing changed about my computer so it has to be on the other end. PLEASE FIX IT!!!!!

Whatever single story loads is all I get now. After reloading a few times other stories will finally come up, but you have to go to the end of the article to get to the next story. I want a list so I can just pick the stories I'm Interested in. The previews of stories I see on the home screen in my RT Surface only go to the story that MSN seems to pick. I'm deleted from my device.

It's a good app, BUT it frequently resets my preferences and the featured stories don't load for about five minutes.

This used to be my go-to news app. Now all it opens is one top story headline and the Microsoft News category. I uninstalled then reinstalled and it worked correctly for 4 minutes before shutting itself down and opening back up to just the one headline and the Microsoft News section. Has been like this for over a week now.

I have selected specific news sources and the app shows me sources that I have intentionally not selected. Please fix this.

You get an update on everything happening in the world. Plus, if a story is especially important, this app gives minute-by-minute updates to the article. You also get to read news from other countries! WOW! In the words of the smart Patrick Star: "Oh, Absolutely!" :)
