Great for my school notes and to use in class is simple for teachers

It's a solid app, and the wheel is a cool navigation tool, but it's simply too limited in its functionality. For example, the app lacks the feature than enables synced voice recording with note taking.

It is extremely too easy to delete and entire notebook with absolutely no way to get it back. All it takes is hitting the enter button three times and poof your entire semester is gone.

Just wish I had the option to zoom in. Also when trying to import word or PowerPoint, have to copy and paste individual slides from pp, ctrl+a then paste. for word. Other than that, works perfectly except for when it crashes once a week

I use OneNote daily in my job as an Independent Adjuster. Using OneNote and my tablet I can download my assignments and on the same download I can create a diagram using the show guideline function. I can then use the show ruled lines function to write out a scope of repair.
When I'm through I synchronize using my hotspot which then allows my office to start the estimate before I can turn off the customers block.

This version of OneNote Notebook is the ONLY reason I WILL NOT switch to Windows 10.
As soon as they change the OneNote App in Windows 10 to be similar to the Windows 8 version (i.e. the Radial Menu) I will switch IMMEDIATELY to Windows 10.

One note will randomly shut down while in use and at times les the work which was being written. Unacceptable.

I save my all important notes/files in this note and can see these notes any time with just a click. Thank you very much.

I do utilize the full version One Note using my MS SurfPro3 and standard laptop. But having the One Note App on my android phone and small tablet has supercharged it as a powerful tool. I think One Note is the most intuitive and integrated type/write application. Very easy to draft a note, voice a note, then refine later; and not be searching for multiple papers. Plus you can copy into most other suite programs.

Software will store written, pictorial, drawn and audible information for easy retrieval. Automatically syncs between phone and computer and can save data to a cloud so a backup always exists. Useful and reliable.

This metro stuff is a step backwards in my opinion. First of all, I can only make OneNote a maximized or minimized app. How is all this new stuff an upgrade when I can't even make it a Window with the dimensions I want? This is a step backwards!
Second of all, I go to add a notebook and it just sticks it in my OneDrive automatically. Why is it so hard to do a simple thing like save this to my hard drive or my OneDrive for Business. You either try and force me to use OneDrive personal by not giving me any options or you hide things so much that I can't find anything. This is very frustrating.
