This app offers very limited functionality, certainly far below what you'd expect for $9. I tried using the pen feature, but it smoothes lines too much for hand-written notes, and I see no way to change that setting. Oh, and there's no eraser! And no, "undo" does not fill in that role all (or even most) of the time. I suppose I could change the pen color to white and cover what I need erased, but it's ridiculous to have to do that. Also, the app froze when I tried to save the document I was editing. Seriously, I think a mistake was made. Either the app was released 6 months too early, or they put a decimal in the wrong place when they entered the price. As it is, this is downright fraud. At the very least, offer a free trial...

I wish that I could have tried this app before purchasing it. It lacks some very basic features that even free PDF apps I've tried have. For example, it has no tool to highlight, strikethrough or underline text - a huge omission. When you add a note to your document, PDF Notes automatically puts a yellow background to the note. There is no option to turn this off. There is also no option to select a color for your notes - an unbelievable omission that every decent annotation app has. You also cannot select a font size to use for your notes- another serious omission. This app is also very mode-driven. That is, you have to be in edit mode to do any annotating but have to go back to pan mode to move around in your document. The only feature I really liked about this app is that it has a button for displaying all your document pages on the screen in thumbnails, making it very easy to jump to another page very quickly. Other than that, it's a half-baked piece of junk. I want a refund!

Does what I need the app too. Wish the quality was a little better. Sometimes the PDFs look a little blurry. Love the highlighter feature.

PDFs are sometimes blurry after opening them with the app, no easy way to save a pdf that is partly annotated as "in progress", needs custom settings (save certain colors for pen, different colors for text boxes)
