In this update I changed the user interface of the Main Menu page to house only two tiles. Also, the April 2013 issue is embedded and the rating has changed because of the appearance of one advertisement in this issue.
Pocket Campus Slate
The Pocket Campus Slate is a line of apps, and the Pocket Campus Slate Windows 8 is one of the three apps which represents the Campus Slate. The Campus Slate is the student run publication at NYIT Old Westbury, and has a rich 40+ year history. This Windows 8 app aims to enhance the rich history, and bring a reputation to not only the Campus Slate, but to NYIT. From this efforts, developers hope that the Campus Slate will be viewed as a forward thinking, innovative publication not only mirroring established news organizations like the New York Times, CNN, etc... but also have a unique identity with the inspiration of having student work be well recognized among the NYIT Community and abroad.
