Good app but needs better UI

I had the same experience ordering as other reviewers - it debited my Microsoft account but no mag. On the plus side a couple of email exchanges got it for me. I found the organization of magazines confusing - two magazines that were on almost identical topics under different major headings. And the magazine I purchased is tough to read on 10" tablet - you have to expand the image, and that makes it difficult to page through. Unfortunately the specific mag I was interested in is only available through this app.

Just lost the magazine in my library and can't get it back, rebooted, logged off and on, restarted the app, still nothing. It even shows the mag I last read in the menu, but I cant access it. I installed the app on my Android Phone to see if it was an issue with the Magazine or Pocket Mags ... everything is fine on my Android. Very Frustrating .. I was in the middle of reading and switched windows for a minute, this started when I switched back.

I love how the review screen shots show nice covers of the magazine but all the app can seem to do is draw a grey box. Very weak UI! Bought one magazine but won't buy another.

Speaking to issues others have raised, I also experienced my subscriptions not coming into my account. I emailed their support and they manually credited me - within 2 hours I was reading my magazines. They have a lot of alternative magazines - not many, but varied. I like that. If they had more "mainstream" as well, this might be all I use for reading mags.

A few issues from my previous subscription cause the app to dump out when I flip to certain pages. Even after re-downloading. Plus the option to subscribe to Stuff dumps out so I can't subscribe in the app. I like the layout and the options, though. Please patch the bugs.

►Downloaded App for Windows 8 laptop ►Searched for desired Magazine ►Purchased a 4 issue subscription to said Magazine, using Microsoft Account ►Pocketmags DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THAT THIS MAGAZINE HAS BEEN PURCHASED FOR VIEWING! There is NO FAQ's section to query, nor any contact info available! UPDATE: After reading the other reviews, I am submitting my issue to the California State Attorney General's Office, via online complaint. ASAP! Don't waste your time on this fraudulently coded app!
