With this app you have direct access to the translations in the free PONS Online Dictionary. 40 dictionaries in currently 20 different languages are at your disposal online.
With the PONS Online Dictionary app you can key in and translate your search terms quickly, reliably and conveniently directly from your Windows desktop. To make reference even more efficient the PONS Online Dictionary app also supports the search from the Charm Bar.
Our database contains over 14 million words and phrases in 20 languages. The PONS high standards of editorial quality are the key to your success—also in this App! The PONS editors uphold traditional PONS quality by carefully editing and certifying each individual entry. The new, and editorially revised entries as well as information from user feedbacks are incorporated into the database on an ongoing basis. All of this is especially important not only for school, university and language school use, but also at the office and at home.
The languages Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Latin, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Slovenian and Turkish languages are at your disposal in various combinations.

Fantastic application. That's the only dictionary app that features support for that many language pairs. And that's all for free. Unbelievable. Especially useful when snapped. It's possible to browse internet and translate words between that many languages. This dictionary is extremely useful when investigating words origin and etymology because it allows you to track word evolution based on its etymology and cross-language dependencies. Great application!
