I saw the others complaining about having no search destination function after updating so I did not update. But that doesn't matter, any search that you do now just brings you to an error page. Bummer.

Disastrous update. I used to really appreciate a once truely fine and beautiful app. They have destroyed it. Really, it was the bright spot on this lack luster Surface device...

very sad to hear that, but i want to say i like the pictures on this APP
Over the past few years, I planned more than one sight seeing trip almost exclusively with this app. I loved how it gathered a bunch of different perspectives and essays and attractions into one place. It's been a great tool for me and I'm very sad to hear that it is being discontinued.

This app used to show extensive information about many places around the world, but in their last few updates and like other MS apps they've removed everything and now it only shows USA travel information. Useless for majority people in the world.

Was amazing, then they took away the search function. I actually used this to plan a big trip and now its gone. I'm sure it was a legal issue pulling info from sites, but this is ridiculous.

When this was Bing Travel, it was one of the best windows 8 apps. Now, its barely more than a news aggregator with links to web sites for travel searching. Please bring back the goodness that was here before, because now this app is totally useless.

I liked it before it completely changed. You used to be able to search a location and find cool things to do in the area and view 360 degree pictures of sights to see -- the images moved with the accelerometer in the tablet.

This has become utter rubbish. I used Ballmer's app a lot for travel with location based itineraries and it was fantastic with all premium content from Fodor's, lonely planet, etc. Now it's just Travel News and a bunch of external web links. Was this outsourced to India or something????? Utter garbage

I used to love this app, and got back on it because I am planning a trip to Europe, and now I can't even look up the cities I will be going to. Hopefully all the negative reviews will convince them to bring back the old app.

Did Microsoft really just turn an excellent in house app into a web wrapper? Why would anyone else bother to developer native apps for windows if even Microsoft won't? Massive disappointment.

This was one of the best apps and now it's not even worth checking out. The former app with the ability to check out destinations enable my wife and I to plan two week vacation in Scandinavia last year. What gives!?!
