this app will not let me open my archive. you need to fix the bugs

Have used mine for years! Just now trying with the drivers for Windows 8!

Dissapointed as it cannot open even an RAR file

Takes over default for common office extensions. Also, why does it need to use my Internet Connection?

This app may be OK for opening simple individual Zipped files, but it took over a huge number of file extensions, including many that have nothing to do with ZIP files (like DOCX, XLSX, and XPS). It chokes on nested zipped folders, often not seeing all the contained files and subfolders. I'd say the standard Desktop option of 7zip is much better and free.
