I use WeatherBug on my Android devices and it works great. On my Windows 8 device, however, the app shows a different forecast than my Android, even though it's for the same city. The extended forecast is also incorrect and out of sync with the hourly forecast. For example, it may show frozen mixed precipitation for Monday but if you display the hourly forecast for Monday, there is no forecast for frozen mixed precipitation.

The data was pulled from "nearby" station. If you live in rural area and your nearest station is 100 miles away, this app is no good for you. Other apps like Windows own Weather can pull data from nearby station, combined with satellite picture, and paint a "general condition". This app? Wouldn't even add your own city or lat/lon coordinates.

This app not only provides accurate forecast but also has a very elegant and beautiful design. Definitely the best looking weather app in the Windows store. WeatherBug has always been a pioneer in delivering weather information. I have always loved their cams and other features. Looking forward to the cams feature in Windows 8 app.

This app for Windows 8.1 tablet indeed is problematic. E.g., High on Today screen is 40 F, but in Hourly screen temp. is in lower 50s with high of 53 F. The layout is useful and pleasant, but I cannot tolerate that inaccuracy and will uninstall. Will check back occasionally to see if problem is corrected.

I thought this was the best app, but it has stopped working properly for awhile now so have to move on and find a substitute.

Man, what a great weather app. Accuracy is solid, UI is beautiful, features are second to none. Download WeatherBug if you haven't already!

Two things... 1) Animating a radar map doesn't work as good as I expect it. Or it works better on the app on other platforms - something I hope to see improved. 2) I would purchase a paid PRO version in a heartbeat! Same thing but sans ads for a couple bucks! I'd pay for that. Otherwise everything seems to work perfectly fine and I'm enjoying good ol' WeatherBug over the standard Windows Weather app.

The forecast on Windows 8 for this app does not match the forecast on the Android and iPhone. Which is weird. The weather forecast on the Android and iPhone is dead on and agree. Not so on Windows. Minus 2 stars.

This was my favorite weather app, but it appears the forecast features is broken and has not been repaired for some time. The radar maps are about as good as it gets though. Minus two stars for lack of forecasts.

You app was the best weather app I could find for Windows 8. It's now broken and doesn't provide forecast information. What good is a weather app without a forecast? Please fix it.

Daily forecast view and hourly forecast view are always different. Daily shows 40% but hourly shows 0% rain all day. Emailed support and they claimed each is updated at different intervals. Checking throughout the day and no improvement. High Temp daily also different from hourly. Hourly seems to be more aligned with reality. Wrote to author; refuses to fix. Why not derive daily summaries from hourlies? DUH moment. I recommend disabling live tile updates to save battery. You can still get alerts without live tile enabled. Highly unpredictable and unstable. Hourly often just shows next 8 hours and stops updating. Clicking daily for say 2 or 3 days ahead does nothing now. A waste of time. Don't bother. Just go to AccuWeather on the web.

The forecast stopped working weeks ago. I have uninstalled it and replaced it with Accuweather.

What a beautiful app! Gives me all the weather data I could possibly need (and then some) while giving my eyeballs a vacation with absolutely wonderful orgasmic scenery that actually changes to reflect the weather around you! This is a must-have application if you have Windows 8.

This was THE weather app for Windows 8 until it broke out of nowhere several weeks ago. I've currently gone back to the stock weather app (Accuweather isn't a good alternative) in the meantime. Hopefully, the folks at WeatherBug wise up soon and fix this app. I had to remove this app on all of my Windows 8 PC's and will keep it off until they fix this app. [Update 6/12/2013 - The app is now fixed and feels faster than before! This app is now back on all of my Windows 8 PC's! Good work!]

I use WeatherBug on my phone and I like the Win8 app with one exception ... the forecast functionality doesn't work. That section shows only question marks. Get that fixed and my rating will go up.

Like others have noted, the Forecast feature broke a while back and has never been fixed!!

Has been a good app until recently. Now the forecast no longer displays. It just has ? Marks where the forecast should be.

You can change temperature unit Fahrenheit to Celsius . Some people reviewed that you cant change it BUT you can change it by using charms bar . I TELL YOU HOW ..........1.First open WEATHER BUG app then moves the mouse pointer to its one right corner 2. Then click on settings 3.Then click again on another settings option 4. Now under SELECT UNITS section change to METRIC UNITS from STANDARD. That's All :)

This is by far the best Weather Bug ever. I have used Weather Bug for 10 years now and love it. This is even Better!

Best weather app so far but I have 2 small requests. 1. On the live tile the background image should be a live snapshot of your radar (and not some generic image).... similar to how the weather.com wp7 app works. 2. The app does not scale to larger resolutions... on my 1080p screen it only shows on the top half of the screen (assuming its locked at 720p). Needs to be fixed.

I've used weatherbug on my phone forever. Recently purchased a win8 tablet. Wanted a good weather app to add to my tiles. It looks great, but all the forecast data is a day off. Current conditions are accurate, but the forecast box shows tomorrows data with today's title. A little weird. Fix it for 5 stars

I love weather bug on all my other mobile devices, but windows 8 app is a joke right now. The interface is beautiful but right now it shows Saturday as sunny all day on the main screen, but the details show rain all day! I've seen this type of inaccuracy for several days now. A weather app is no good if its not accurate. Sad because I really want to use weather bug.
