If you want a FREE PDF editor/annotator, there isn't anything better than Xodo. It's not perfect, but it does what I need it to do. I have high hopes the creators will continue to improve upon this app.

Why force me to write with a finger when I have a stylus?

I use Xodo for reading articles, papers and textbooks. It's very smooth and robust. I use it everyday for schoolwork. It's free.

when i use a pen, the finger can also write, so sometimes it incur disturbance. and when being editted, i can not use my fingers to scroll up and down on the pages except my fingers are on the grey area.

When I opened my file in the program it didn't even give me any options to edit it. It was just like a viewer

I was so pleased to find an app that does exactly what I want in a pdf annotator. I love the "erase" capability the most which is so useful...unlike others which just lets u do "undo". It also has a rotate function which I like...BUT my happiness was shortlived as it has bugs in it. I am using Asus Transformer and I couldn't use the touchscreen when it was installed. It is a minor issue, but it matters to me. So sadly, after a happy day of letting my kids use it on their pdf books, I had to uninstall.

Really great app. And the best part is its for free. Keep it up developers.

Better than Adobe reader BUT whenever I open this app I have to tap on the pages to scroll using keyboard! set the focus() onto the pages!

Allows free typeable text, drawing ink, highlighting, underlining, saved signatures, and more! A great free app that I have used and loved since I have started pharmacy school.

I have used a few different PDF annotation apps. I have even paid for apps. The Xodo app has been the best one out of them all. Its hard to believe this app is free. All of my needs are met with Xodo.

The delivers good solid support where Reader (MS or Adobe) fall short on tablet with pen support.

The only PDF readers on windows (Desktop and Metro) with a decent night mode. Fast and sharp rendering, bloat-free UI, intuitive design. It also works beautifully with the HP Spectre Active Stylus. Draw whatever you want, and the app keeps track of where you drew things in the annotations menu. I wish I could rate this app higher. The developers are genius.

I recommend this App to all persons who regularly use PDFs. By my experience, it is the best there is.

This is the best PDF reader and editor in the store. I have used a great number of them, and was excited when I finally came across the this one.

Do not work on the tablet like is suppose to be.

runs quirky, consumes the screen as designed like any other controlling programs allowed by microsoft, limits most or all controls or hides them to prevent easy escape or undo privacy "concerns" as they laugh i'm sure, hard to maneuver in and just lame ugly limp wafting stench. But on par with almost all tech companies now consumed with changing and controlling everything and everyone. Seems all the rave these days instead of helping us live and be productive, God forbid. Controlled by unknown entities and deviants destroying human identity and uniqueness causing anarchy in search of the great elite utopia yet so far unreachable. In the end, I just want to be able to USE MY personal computing device again instead of drooling in the chair watching my steve Hawkins contraption just go through gyration after gyration, restarts and errors, failures, and utterly inevitable gut wrenching hangs all just to go through horrendous time consuming rebuilds over n over n over n over n lose my stuf

The Windows store contains the big names in PDF suites, (Adobe, EZ PDF reader), but none of them offer fully featured edit tools. Even Microsoft's own "Reader" app lacks some key features. This app is wonderful to use for taking notes on a PDF, both with a stylus or a keyboard, as well as make highlights.

Look no further if you're in search for an app to sign or type on a PDF file. Was frustrated with my previous "sign my pad" app as it always gets my signatures and texts all jumbled up after saving. Had documents that needed to be signed and filled out asap. Searched for the best PDF file editor for Surface RT and came upon this app. Needless to say Xodo saved the day. Pinned this on start menu and got rid of the other app I had that cost a couple of bucks to download. I hope this app stays free for others to utilize. But then again, I wouldn't mind paying a couple of bucks for this app so long as they keep it functioning as it should. Big thumbs up! 👍👊

Menu is not intuitive. It is difficult to navigate. It is also difficult to annotate on pdf.

This app is the worse wont work and u can not uninstall it

although Adobe seems to be the creator of pdf documents, they freaking don't have a good pdf viewer. The Adobe reader pc version is missing the night view mode, which is imperative for battery saving and also long reading experience. Even Microsoft's reader doesn't have this option. This app however has literally everything you may need in a document reader. From editing, seamlessly annotating and most importantly-nigh mode.

This is a fantastic App. Firstly, after looking at what it can do, I uninstalled 3 other apps. Secondly having used the Reader on Mac, this is the closest it comes to it on windows. get it!

Speed is good, many options available. None of the readers in store has option for showing 2 pages side by side for viewing atlas except this one. Highly recommend it. Please ad more formats so that I can uninstall all other crap readers from my device.

A lot of the time I lose my changes, losing HOURS of my work :(
